Mindfulness Forest Project
MindCrew Project (Ages 5-11)
Thursday Afternoon’s 11am- 12.30pm for Home Educated Children.
In this annual 6-week project children will learn age appropriate psychological concepts, including; cognitive and social psychology, neuropsychology, mindfulness and meditation techniques. This includes movement and breathwork, as well as, short meditations and mindful walks around the forest setting, incorporating fun games and activities, whilst connecting with nature.
All children will be given a workbook folder to take home, this is optional. No child will be made to do anything they do not want to, if they would prefer to use the time and space as a stay and play, that is up to them. I advocate autonomy at all times.
My sessions are dynamic and fun, incorporating different learning modalities, art, play and open discussions.

“We attended a few of the Home Education sessions. Gabrielle’s knowledge & expertise makes these sessions very unique. The forest space used is a child’s dream. The mix of structured activity followed by forest freeness works perfectly for home educating families. Highly recommend!”
